Responsibilities

  • As the owner of our retention channels, you will develop and execute email, SMS, and rewards marketing strategies to drive customer retention, loyalty, and lifetime value.
  • Create compelling, personalized content and campaigns that resonate with our target audience from start to finish - including briefing, coordinating assets, quality assurance, scheduling, testing, and reporting.
  • Segment customer data and utilize insights to optimize and personalize targeting, messaging, and timing of communications.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to gather insights to optimize our automated flows and customer rewards/loyalty program, integrating into the full customer journey.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and analyze campaign results to identify opportunities for optimization and growth, reporting on actuals vs plan each month.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, including design, product, and customer service, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve our retention marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in email marketing, SMS marketing, or retention marketing roles.
  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp) and SMS marketing tools.
  • Experience executing customer rewards or loyalty program is an asset, but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative and engaging marketing campaigns.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Passion for skincare and beauty industry trends is a plus.
